Things you should know

You’re welcome to host parties right across the bank holiday weekend, or as part of The Big Jubilee Lunch, but there are a few things you should bear in mind…

Organising a street party just for residents and neighbours is very simple and does not need a licence. However, all events must comply with public health guidance in place at the time.

If your street party will require a temporary road closure, then you will need to make an application for this to Epsom and Ewell Council. Read the council’s advice and guidance on Temporary road closures

If you are planning a larger event that is open to the public and advertised externally, you will need public liability insurance and a licence from the council. For further information and advice, please visit the councils website Click Here
